I applied for a loan earlier today. When will I know if I got approved?

When you are conditionally approved, you will be directed to your approving lender's website within a few minutes of applying on West Bay Cash. If the system is still searching for a lender after 5 minutes, we're having trouble finding a lender who will accept your application. If no one contacts you within an hour of submitting, your loan was declined.

I applied for a loan on West Bay Cash and was redirected to another website. Is this how the process works?

Yes. West Bay Cash does not lend money or process loans, we collect your information and attempt to find you with a suitable lender. If you're conditionally approved, you will be routed to your approving lender's website. You may be asked for additional information.

Why was my application declined?

Applications can be declined for a variety of reasons, including your state’s applicable regulations. West Bay Cash is not involved in lending decisions and does not have access to reasons a particular application may be declined.

How can I better my chances at getting my application approved?

When you click on the appropriate service you're looking for, be specific about your needs and situation. Please don't leave any sections blank since a lender may pass over an incomplete application.

How do I extend my loan?

Lenders will often provide loan extensions; however, this is a decision made solely by your lender. Please contact your lender for details.

What if I only have a savings account?

We have several lenders in our network that can lend you money even if you only have a savings account. Please contact your bank to get the routing number. This is needed in order to electronically transfer the loan funds to your account as well for repayment of the loan.

What if I have a fixed income or benefits?

As long as you have a steady stream of income, our lenders may be able to provide you a loan. Enter your benefit provider as your Employer. If you do not have the telephone number of your benefit provider, enter your own telephone number. Enter the number of months you have been receiving benefits for the Months Employed.

Does your company do credit checks?

West Bay Cash is not a lender and we do not perform credit checks. We try to find lenders in our network in order to get you the right loan. As a condition of extending credit, the lender you are redirected to may run a credit check with major credit reference agencies.
