No hidden costs. West Bay Cash is not a lender and does not provide lending services directly to consumers. Based on the information you submit, West Bay Cash searches our lending network to find you a lender and loan suited to your needs. Each lender has different loan terms, such as the loan amount, the APR for the loan, repayment schedules, etc. Each lender is required by the federal Truth in Lending Act to present to you the terms of the loan, the rates and all costs associated with the loan prior to you executing loan documents.
After submitting your information, if you are redirected to a lender, the lender will contact you to confirm your personal information and finalize the loan. Please make sure that you respond in a timely manner to ensure that funds are made available as quickly as possible. Carefully review the loan amount, fees and other details of the agreement. You are under no obligation to accept a loan until you agree with and e-sign the agreement.
Understanding Your Credit Score
A good credit score is crucial for financial success. A credit score is a three digit number calculated from your credit report and is one factor used by lenders to determine your creditworthiness for a loan. Your score can affect whether or not you are approved as well as what interest rate you are charged.
Our network of lenders may report to major credit bureaus every repayment, so you can build or fix your credit by making timely repayments. As your credit improves, you may be eligible for lower rates on subsequent loans.
Lenders each have different standards for what they consider to be a good credit score, so it‘s important to keep building your score to receive the most favorable interest rates and highest rates of credit approval.
When You've Been Redirected.
West Bay Cash will process your application in a secure environment, and will attempt to find you a lender suited to meet your needs. If you have been redirected, you should thoroughly review all rates and fees that will apply to your loan. It is also important to check the repayment options and to understand the agreement made between you and the lender. At any point in the application process, you can decide whether or not you wish to continue with the terms offered.
Protecting Your Credit
West Bay Cash is not a lender but works only with lenders that are compliant with the Federal Truth in Lending Act (the “TLA”). The TLA protects consumers seeking credit in a variety of ways, including by: requiring full disclosure of the terms and conditions of loan products; restricting the garnishment of wages; and by creating the National Commission on Consumer Finance to study and make recommendations on the need for further regulation of the consumer finance industry.
Please note: You may exit the process at any time before signing and are under no obligation to accept the loan presented.
Repaying Your Loan
While you are repaying your loan, you are protected by the Fair Debt Collections Act, which is enforced by the Federal Trade Commission. All lenders are required to abide by this law. The act requires that lenders comply with fair debt collection practices, which includes limitations on when and how you can be contacted about your debt, and other communication methods.
